Northeast Food and Agriculture Where is the Northeast? The Northeast region of the United States includes 10 states - Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Because these states were amongst the first to be settled in the new United States of America, some of them are often grouped as the "New England" states.
